Cabbage Patch Doll

Cabbage Patch dolls have been manufactured by a variety of companies, but they have one thing in common: they are all highly collectible and well-made. The oldest dolls were made entirely of cloth by Xavier Roberts. These are the rarest and most expensive Cabbage Patch dolls, worth thousands of dollars in some circumstances.

Cabbage Patch dolls were later made in their most popular form, with plastic heads and cloth bodies, by Coleco, followed by Hasbro, Mattel, and Play Along Kids. A few models with vinyl bodies were also manufactured as bathing dolls. Regardless of their manufacturer, Cabbage Patch dolls have a distinctive ‘so ugly they’re cute’ appearance that appeals to children and collectors alike.
